The National Institutes of Health Biomolecular Science and Engineering Training Program at Rensselaer has seen the following outcomes for our NIH Predoctoral Fellows as of 2016:
- The average time to degree is 5.13 years.
- The percentage of fellows to successfully attain a PhD is 88.24%.
- Our graduated fellows published with an average of 4.8 publications per student.
- Of our graduated fellows, 18% were from under-represented minorities (URM) and/or students with disabilities.

Upon completing their PhDs, our graduating Fellows have found careers in acadamia, biotechnology, entrepreneurship, environmental engineering, the pharmaceutical industry, and semiconductors. All graduates have seen 100% career placement.
