The 49th National Organic Chemistry Symposium (NOS) will be held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) from June 22–26, 2025. Sponsored by the American Chemical Society’s Division of Organic Chemistry (DOC), this renowned biennial event marks the 100-year anniversary of the symposium and is expected to welcome over 450 participants from across the United States and around the world. As the premier event sponsored by the DOC, NOS aims to present a roster of distinguished speakers who represent the full breadth and creative advances of organic chemistry. NOS 2025 will feature an outstanding lineup of presentations highlighting cutting-edge research in organic synthesis, biocatalysis, polymer chemistry, and drug discovery. A major highlight of the symposium will be a keynote lecture by Dr. Morton Medhal, recipient of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his groundbreaking contributions to the development of click chemistry. In addition to plenary lectures, the symposium will include nightly poster sessions and career panels. For more information about the 2025 NOS, please visit https://www.nationalorganicsymposium.org/.
